 BOOKING AT A GLANCE

How to Secure Your Date with Songbirds & Sunshine Entertainment

1. Confirm Your Event
Meet with your SSE representative to finalize your event details, services, and pricing.

2. Receive Your Booking Invoice
You’ll receive a Date Reservation Fee (DRF) invoice or may submit an approved Purchase Order.

3. Lock Your Date
Your event date is not reserved until SSE receives:
✔ A paid Date Reservation Fee
—or—
✔ An approved Purchase Order

  

Date Reservation Fee

• 30% of total contracted services
• Non-refundable
• Applied toward your final invoice

This fee secures your date and removes it from SSE’s calendar.

  

Cancellation or Date Changes

If your reserved date is canceled or moved, the portion of the Date Reservation Fee assigned to that date is forfeited as liquidated damages for blocking and holding that date.

  

Once Your DRF Is Received

Your event is officially booked and locked in SSE’s calendar.


 Absolutely! We’re the wizards of custom event themes, ready to sprinkle some magic on your wildest visions! Want a sun-soaked tropical bash or a classy vintage retirement celebration? Just say the word, and we’ll turn your dream into a dazzling reality! 


We work with a variety of venues, including luxury apartment communities, event spaces, private estates, schools and more. We can also help you find the perfect venue if you haven't already selected one.


We know how to set the perfect atmosphere and keep the party lively! Our approach is highly interactive, blending crowd participation with a balance of prepared scripts and spontaneous moments. Whether you prefer a subtle, reserved presence or a high-energy, leading role, we tailor our style to meet your vision and make your event extraordinary. We infuse every moment with energy, fun, and joy!


We provide all the necessary equipment and require only a 10' x 10' space or booth area with access to at least two nearby electrical outlets. Please inform us if your event will be indoors or outdoors, and confirm that power will be available. If a generator is needed, we can provide one for a rental fee, which will solely cover power for our equipment.


To ensure a smooth experience, we require a minimum of 2 hours for setup (load-in) before the event begins and 1 hour for breakdown (load-out) after the event concludes. This time is essential to deliver the quality and professionalism you expect from us.


For events located more than 40 miles from Gainesville, Virginia, additional travel fees will be included in your quote.

Payment Policy:
Payments for all events are due before or on the day of service.

If payment is not received on or before the date of service, a 15-day grace period is granted. After this period, late fees will be assessed according to the schedule below.

 

Late Fee Schedule

Days Past Service Date  -  Late Fee

  • 1–15 Days (Grace Period) No Late Fee
  • 16–29 Days - $100
  • 30–45 Days - $250
  • 46-90 Days - $500
  • 91+ Days $250 + $50 per day overdue* 

*Example:
If a payment is 100 days late, the late fee would be: $250 + (10 days × $50) = $750

Cancellation Policy:

We understand plans may change. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to djsonia3000@gmail.com or sales@djsonia3000.com as soon as possible.

  • 30+ days before event: Full refund, minus 10% administrative fee.
  • 15–29 days before event: 50% refund of total service fee.
  • 8–14 days before event: No refund; full payment due.
  • Within 7 days of event: No refund of any monies paid, plus a $150 cancellation fee (payable immediately). 

Date Reservation Fees are non-refundable.


If the event is canceled due to extreme weather, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable circumstances e.g. -COVID outbreak etc., we will reschedule at no additional cost, subject to availability.


No-shows or failure to provide required setup conditions (e.g., power access, adequate space) will be treated as cancellations with no refund.

Whether it's an intimate dinner party, a large corporate event, a wedding ceremony, a mitzvah, a birthday or anniversary celebration, live music, Broadway openings, fashion shows, bar or cocktail hours, conferences, exhibits, or any other social gathering, we cater to all.


Expect professionalism from us. Our focus is on creating a remarkable and unforgettable experience. Communication will never be an issue; we avoid last-minute surprises. Your event is our priority, and we will meticulously plan and confirm all details well in advance of your event date. 


We know how to keep the party lively and set the perfect atmosphere! Our approach is interactive, encouraging crowd participation while balancing prepared scripts and spontaneous interactions. We can be subtle and reserved or energetic and leading the festivities, depending on what you need to make your event extraordinary. We infuse energy, fun, and joy into everything we do! 


We provide all necessary services, requiring only a 10'x10' space or booth for our equipment, along with an electrical outlet nearby. For every event, we will need access to at least two outlets. Please let us know if your event will be indoors or outdoors, and confirm if power will be available, as it is essential. Should you need a generator, there will be a rental fee of $75, which will solely cover the power for our equipment. 


For events located more than 25 miles from Bristow, Virginia, additional travel costs will be included in your quote.
